POLICE SPECIAL FRAUD UNIT IKOYI-LAGOS

The Commissioner of Police, Police Special Fraud Unit Lagos, CP Okunade Ronke Nurat, FSI, on Monday, 16th June 2025, received Olori Ashley Afolasade Ogunwusi, the Olori Ooni of Ife, and her entourage at the Sunday Adewusi House, Police Special Fraud Unit Ikoyi-Lagos. The courtesy visit, which had in attendance the members of the management team and some team managers of the unit, aimed at promoting tradition, unity, gender balance, girl child education and mutual respect.
In her address, the Olori Ooni of Ife commended the CP for her steadfast performance and expressed her happiness towards the fact that a woman is the Commissioner of Police in charge of PSFU Lagos. She stated her continued desire for women to always have an impact in the community and the country at large. Olori Ashley Afolasade Ogunwusi concluded by offering heartfelt prayers for the CP, seeking God’s divine guidance, protection and blessings in the course of discharging her duties.



The CP PSFU Lagos, in her response, expressed her appreciation for the visit and acknowledged the impact the Crown has when it comes to building public trust. CP Okunade Ronke Nurat, FSI, in her remarks, added that women often hold the mantle of leadership with firmness and fear of God as she called for a continuous collaboration to build the nation.
The CP concluded by appreciating the Olori for the cultural integration and meaningful dialogue which focused on promoting community policing, gender balance, and girl child education.
